DEME / Lineas / Nokia / City of Antwerp / Pampers / Gilette  / others

Let’s talk about trains.  And a City of Things. Safety on a dredger. Fashion. Nappies and razors. Dating. Or anything at all really.

One of the best things about going freelance is without a doubt the many opportunities that pass your way.  Not being tied to a single client means you get to write about a wild variety of topics, for a broad range of audiences and for all sorts of reasons.

Creating a campaign strapline, thinking up talking points for beermats and tongue-in-cheek jokes for barbecue aprons, distilling the most important features of a drilling platform improvement for a safety poster, writing and editing a magazine for government funded missions to foreign shores, advice on potty training your toddler, shaving system promotions, car adverts, dating in Brussels….

The challenges and accompanying creativity required know no bounds.  This bit is to say thank you to all the amazing specialists and clients I get to work with: The Oval Office, Duval Union, Ogilvy, SuperKraft, Forward, OpenUp, Studio Gloria and all others, great and small.

straplines /// campaign & event materials /// original long & short copy /// one liners /// translations /// social media content /// press releases /// movie subtitles & storylines

From tagline to TED talk, there is very little English copy that leaves The Oval Office without Fiona’s input or final proofreading.  We’ve come to rely upon her sharp eye, keen sense of style, and creative and flexible approach to projects.  Quick to understand clients’ needs, she has become an invaluable partner to our entire team.
